Swan Valley The Swan River can also be accessed by Tiger Road outside of Breckenridge. Heading out of Breckenridge toward Frisco, take a right at the light for Tiger Road. Continue up this road until you see the Good Times Snowmobile area. Park in this area and begin the trail at this point. The history of the Swan River Valley dates back to the late 1850’s where the mining of gold began. The Continental Divide at Georgia Pass, a relatively mild pass, was one of the ways that these fortune seekers entered into Summit County. Today these same access trails can be used by snowmobilers seeking solitude high above tree line.
