Hiking Trails around Copper Mountain Wheeler Lakes Trailhead: A class 2 or 3 level hike because of steepness, this 2.8 mile trail provides everything nature has to offer. Enjoy wildflowers, views of the Tenmile Range which span between Breckenridge and Frisco, and views of Copper Mountain Ski area. Not to mention, the two alpine lakes on top should surely reward the determined hiker. Directions to the Wheeler Lakes Trailhead: Leaving Frisco, drive west on I-70 and take exit 195 for Copper Mountain. The trailhead is before the bridge just north of the exit.
