Searle Pass Trail – Copper Mountain Access to this trailhead is located 3.7 miles past the Copper Mountain Ski Resort turnoff. Turn right onto a paved public access road. Continue for about a mile then take the right fork onto a gravel road. Drive about 3.3 miles and look for the trailhead. It is an easy hike up a 4WD road subsequent to Searle Gulch until the road ends where you must do a little bushwhacking to reach the summit for the trail is traveled lightly. A compass would be quite helpful for this hike. The summit at Searle Pass is at 12,200 ft.
