Frey Gulch
I usually park at the free parking lots by Keystone Village to begin this ride. Descend on Highway 6, passing through the stoplight, for about a mile to Landfill Road on your right. Climb just before the gate to enter the landfill and turn right. Head uphill till you reach another road and take a right. Pass a power station, a gate, and continue climbing into the trees. As you descend, pass by a cattle guard and a few side roads. Just beyond a creek, turn left onto a "main-looking" road at a 3-way junction toward Frey Gulch. At each junction continue right into the forest and across creeks. This road fades out by the remains of some old mining cabins. Return along the same route and take a left onto the main road. Continue left through a logging area. Soon after you will pass by a small creek, take an immediate right and ride by a dirt berm and onto a trail. This trail will eventually spit you out to Saints John paved road. Turn left and ride out to the highway and your vehicle.
