Montezuma Rock Climbing Just past the free parking lots at Keystone is a road to the right named Montezuma Road. Head right towards Montezuma and look for Independence Road about a mile or so on your right. There is a turnout across from the road on the left that you can park at. Look for a huge rock face north of the road. The trail can be difficult to find. Follow the talus slope to the base of the cliff for it is about a 10-minute hike.
