This spectacular mountain home is brand new - finished in fall of 2007- and though it is full of luxury amenities, it maintains a cozy, mountain-rustic atmosphere. The main level offers soaring ceilings and wood-and-antler chandeliers, with a floor-to-ceiling double-sided stone fireplace that separates the great room from the dining area. The gourmet kitchen features granite countertops and stainless-steel appliances. Discriminating chefs will be thrilled with the double ovens and separate microwave, the butcher-block island with plenty of workspace, the 6-burner professional grade gas stove with hood, and the two sinks.
Next to the kitchen, bask in the warmth of the stone-floor sunroom or watch a little television to relax. More relaxation is available beyond the sunroom, where you will find the large, 8-person hot tub as well as a spectacular private deck surrounded by trees.
Ascending the hewn wood staircase from the foyer, you will find the two master suites and a sleeping loft. The first master suite offers a king-sized log bed and a stone fireplace. The suites travertine marble bathroom has double sinks, a soaking tub, and a large steam shower. There are also 2 bedrooms on this level; the first is a master suite with a queen-sized log bed and a twin log bunk bed in the room. This suites bathroom has a full-sized bathtub. The second bedroom also offers a queen log bed and a twin log bunk bed. A full bathroom on this level serves the fourth bedroom and the recreation room. There is also a laundry room on the lower level with a full-size washer and dryer, ironing board, and iron.
