Team Evergreen Triple Bypass Team Evergreen Triple Bypass Team Evergreen based in Evergreen, Colorado is the founder of this challenging one day road bike tour from Evergreen to Avon, over 3 mountain passes. Founded in 1989, this club promotes cycling and support of the local community through weekly bike rides, as well as, their flagship event, the Triple Bypass. The reason for the name is that during the course of 120 miles, the riders gain more than 10,000 feet of elevation over 3 passes. They provide a sag vehicle and aid stations along the way and the money earned goes to the local communities.
