Frisco Hiking- North Ten Mile Canyon A very popular hike is located right off I-70 at the Frisco Main Street Exit. Drive away from the town of Frisco, right off the highway and park before the gate entrance. Due to the popularity of this trail, on busy weekends you probably will encounter other travelers. This trail is perfect in both winter and summer months and is an excellent place to bring the dog. Ten Mile Gulch is a gradual climb through the gully of two mountain tops. I have done this hike on a full moon and found it to be easy to follow and the scenery to be stunning. This up and back trail makes for a relaxing stroll in nature along rivers and through the forest. The hike is quite beautiful in the winter months as well. I enjoy following the tracks of the critters after a newly fallen snow.
