Byers Canyon – The Colorado River begins in Grand County and begins to grow at the canyon near Hot Sulfur Springs. If this section of river is running, it is a must do. At high water it is considered a V-. The entire run is only 2.6 miles but beware of railroad debris in the water. Not many people frequent this section of river but well worth the effort if there is water.
