Farmers Markets in the County Dillon – The people of Dillon love to get out and sit along the Marina Park and the beautiful setting and indulge on some of the freshest products at the Farmers’ Market every Friday 9-1pm. The market specializes in homegrown and homemade Colorado goods that range from fruits and vegetables to fresh pastas, cheeses, sauces and jams. This is a perfect Friday morning activity till October 1st to gather the freshest goods for a picnic lunch or dinner. Located next to the Dillon Amphitheatre. Breckenridge – Main Street Station Visiting Main Street Station on a Sunday morning is a perfect time to gather all the fresh and tasty treats that are offered the Farmers Market. You may encounter selections of Cheeses, nuts, bread, flowers, nutritional gifts, and much more. Many times they even offer free samples of the caramel corn and beef jerky. I love to browse the plaza, get some snacks and sit on a rock and enjoy the summer sun. The market goes on from 9am to 1pm from June to September, be sure not to miss it! Silverthorne – Passing through Silverthorne on a sunny day in the summer, you will notice a fresh fruit and vegetables on the right side of hwy 6 on route to Steamboat. If you are on the drive, make sure to pick up some fresh apples, pears, or the latest fruit or vegetable in season.
