Full Moon Activities We have all seen full moons but there is no comparison to a full moon in the high country. First of, all we are fortunate to not have air and light pollution in Summit County, which enables full moon nights to be extra bright. While some people are suspicious of full moons the residents of Summit County crave these awesome nights. They get outside and enjoy the moonlight. The Keystone and Breckenridge Nordic Centers host “Full Moon Snowshoe Tours” which allows you to enjoy the scenery in a different “light.” Those who seek a bit more adventure head up to The Great Divide and ski or ride using the full moon to guide them down the hill. Both of these options are lots of fun but remember to be careful and mindful of your surroundings.
