Georgia Pass - Unique Excursion
Hidden in the Continental Divide stands a mountain pass in the middle of the Arapaho National forest. Georgia Pass is a scenic old wagon road that at one time was used to transport supplies from the South Park area to the miners around Breckenridge. Today mountain bikes, dirt bikes, and 4-wheel drive vehicles (2WD from Jefferson) can access Georgia Pass. To get there from Breckenridge, head toward Frisco and turn right on Tiger Road and the Breckenridge Golf course. Follow the road till you reach a fork then stay right. Pass North Fork, Middle fork and continue on South Fork to reach the top of the pass. Many of the old mining trails can also be explored by snowmobile in the winter as well. Good Time Tours is located at the split between the Middle Fork and South Fork trails.
