Kids Only Terrain Hidden on the mountains are special areas dedicated and constructed with kids in mind. These areas are usually through a section of woods with theme creatures painted on wood. These characters keep kids entertained and excited about exploring the ski slopes. These sections of trails teach kids important techniques of skiing in control and making turns while having fun. Depending on the level of skier, ski school classes may bring the kids to these areas. The ski run is usually out of the way of the major ski run, through the trees, and offers a variety of terrain. Some resorts have a kids terrain park, designed especially for kids to learn advanced techniques of skiing and snowboarding and even a few tricks. Each resort has a different program for the children, so call ahead and learn what the area offers.
