Planning the activities
Make sure that the activities that you have planned still allow everyone to sit around and talk with each other. A mistake made in planning a family reunion is keeping everyone so busy that they never get a chance to relax and truly get to enjoy each other. Try to organize activities that the majority of people at the reunion can participate in. Games are a great way to get everyone involved as well as team sports. For example, soccer, softball, basketball, volleyball, croquet, and badminton are excellent team sport games to play. Some other fun games include kick the can, three leg race, tug o war, capture the flag, board games, and trivia games. On the invitations you might want to ask each of the attendees a weird fact about themselves and use it for a family trivia game.
