Season PassesJust because you don’t live in Summit County full time does not mean that you should not buy a season pass. If you plan on visiting the high country several times during the winter it may be more economical for you to purchase a season pass. Your best bet would be to look at the ski resort websites and see what the lift ticket prices are per day and for multiple days. Once you figure this out determine how many days you will be skiing. If you are skiing more than a couple of days you may find that a season pass is your best option. Also, keep in mind that if you purchase a season pass it is valid at several mountains. A season pass from Vail Resorts is valid at Breckenridge, Keystone, Vail, Beaver Creek and Heavenly in California. That’s five world-class ski mountains!! A season pass from Intrawest is valid at Copper and Winter Park. Remember, resort towns are expensive so a season pass is great way to save yourself some money.
