Shoshone - Colorado Shoshone This is the ultra-popular spot to play in the heart of Glenwood Canyon. The best part of this section is that the river flow is almost always running. Located at the base of a hydropower station they are always producing water. Another great attribute to this run is the ease at which to shuttle. A bike path parallels the section of river, so get ready for many onlookers while you show off your stuff. Kayakers bring bikes to make the shuttle run or hitch a ride with another boater. The entire run is about 1.6 miles, but get ready to play. One of my favorite areas is the “all day wave” which can be surfed for hours if you are good enough to stay on.
