Snowmobile South Park – Mosquito Pass Road Near by Summit County, there are an abundance of trails that will keep you occupied all day long. The most popular area in South Park is Mosquito Range where the snowfalls are heavier. Mosquito Pass road can be accessed by driving south from Breckenridge over Hoosier Pass through the town of Alma take Mosquito Gulch turnoff (county road 12). Continue on this road for 5 miles and park where the snowplowing ends. Continue on the snowmobile west and follow North Mosquito Creek. You will pass the North London Mine and from here the road continues through a dangerous avalanche area to the summit. This continuation is highly discouraged. The best choice is to turn around and head back in the direction that you came.
