Summit County Public Radio The Public Radio and TV roots are located at the top of Baldy mountain in Breckenridge. It all started with a generator that needed to be filled with gas daily to broadcast the one Television and radio station in the town. The community eventually set up a powerline to provide a durable power source from French Gulch to the transformer at the ridge of Baldy. This spirit of community involvement continues today by providing the county with non-profit network stations of TV and radio to the people of Summit County. The stations are as followed: 89.3 – Classical / Colorado Public Radio 89.7 – Jazz 94.3 – World Class Rock 95.3 – The Eagle / Adult Rock 88.3 / 107.1 – (NPR) National Public Radio 107.9 – Spiritual
