The Numbers - Arkansas The Numbers – By far the classic class 4 run that is fun-filled with excitement the entire time. This section of the Arkansas is 4.9 miles but filled with 5 solid class IV rapids. If you are a class IV boater, this is the run to do! No commercial trips have permits for this section of river, but individuals with their own raft are welcome. Each of the 5 rapids has their own distinct personality and elements. Rapid 5 I find to be the most difficult since you must make a few moves around rocks. However other boaters feel that Rapid 1 is the most technical. Anyway you look at this section of river, all the rapids will get your heart pumping!
