At Climax mountain in Leadville is one of the largest producers of Molybdenum in the world and other mines in Idaho and Canada produced Silver, Lead, Zinc, and Coal. Due to the high altitude, the Rockies average temperatgure is about 43 degrees Fahrenheit with July being the warmest month.
