Due to increased security, the Lower Blue only allows boaters Friday–Sunday. The upper Blue has sporadic CFS flows, so if you catch it when it is running and Denver is in the need for water, you are in for a treat. Occationally, this river runs commercial trips but you will have to ask an outfitter if they are running these sections.
