Some people have run this 17-mile run in one day, but remember that this section of river has over 10 miles of flat water, so get ready to paddle. A good spot to camp is right at Little D rapid. You will be rewarded with a hike to a beautiful waterfall and mud bath. If you like swimming rapids, this is the spot. However, make sure everyone swimming is experienced and strong enough to get out of the current quickly. It is an excellent idea to set up throw ropes for those less energetic and who might need a little extra assistant. NEED PERMIT
