What beer to choose?

With many spots to indulge in a great tasting brew, you will find a variety of flavors and tastes to suite the beer flavor you prefer. Whatever style beer you are looking for, the breweries here will have a frosty beverage waiting for you. Below are a few of most popular style of brews:

Pale Ale: An American version of an English classic. Uses pale and lightly kilned malts. This beer is golden in color with a full flavor.

Porter: This is a beer with a rich color and complex flavor. It can have more of a creamy taste but is not as roasted or burnt like a stout

Amber: A very easy drinkable beer. This beer boasts a nice copper color with medium body and a hint of spice. Not difficult to have a few of these tasty beers.

Pilsner: A light in color beer that gives a smooth flavor with a distinctive hop character and a pleasant malt finish.

Wheat: If you are looking for a refreshing beer to drink on the deck of a hot summer day, this is it. Made with malted wheat and select specialty malts. Some enjoy a lemon or orange with it.

Hefeweizen: This American Wheat Ale with yeast. It has a golden opaque color and has a light yet interesting flavor. Can have a cloudy appearance.

Stout: Rich and robust are two excellent words to describe the Stout beer. If looking for a great tasting chocolate coffee maltiness in a glass this would be it.

Bock: Holding a mahogany color, Bock beer is made to have a lightly sweet taste. You may taste flavors of caramel or malt with a rich warming taste sensation.

Lager: Amber-colored and medium-bodied, this Vienna-style lager has a slight caramel malt taste with a mild hop finish. It’s slow-brewed with bottom-fermenting yeast and German hops.
